In 2018, The Caravan and Motorhome club developed their glamping offer for members, offering the benefits of luxury accommodation with the outdoor experience. Competing with luxury country house hotels and high end guest houses, communicating standards and procedures to staff was critical. Due to our experience of hotel Housekeeping, we were asked to develop online learning modules and to support the roll out through our LMS.

We experienced glamping for ourselves by staying overnight at one of the Club's top sites. This helped us identify the glamping pod layout, the housekeeping procedures used and products. Bespoke videos were taken of key procedures and detailed photos to use in the modules.
Using our Housekeeping experience we were able to ask questions and advise on standards before developing a suite of 3 bespoke modules; Cleaning – Making beds - Final Presentation. As internet access was often limited on site, we had to limit the activities and image movement in the module but were able to develop end quizzes.
Before the Caravan and Motorhome Club invested in their own LMS, they wanted to be sure the project would be successful on an ongoing basis. We set The Caravan and Motorhome Club up with a dedicated portal on our system, trained an administrator to enrol their learners, manage progress and evaluate the end result - which was successful!
