After 30-odd years in the training environment myself, I know from experience that the most effective training programmes are those that don’t overload the learner but engage and entertain them so that learning becomes fascinating and enjoyable. I took the modules myself, before making them available to our staff and was impressed by how the variety of formats and interactive elements held my interest throughout. By the end I had absorbed the information, understood why it was important, felt confident in the knowledge and had fun learning. I also found it easy to fit in the modules around my other activities.
