Graeme brings a rare blend of operational excellence and technical expertise to Direction Training Associates
Director of E-Learning
A former Executive Restaurant Manager and Group Food Services Manager, he has led high end sporting, cultural and social events at both national and international scale.
In recent years, Graeme has channelled this same precision into the digital side of hospitality training.
His career has seen him manage prestigious occasions for high profile guests, including members of the Royal Family, where flawless service and attention to detail were non-negotiable.
He now oversees both our websites and Learning Management System, ensuring that our online learning experience is as seamless, accessible, and high quality as the face to face training we deliver.
I started as a riding instructor at Pennyhill Park Hotel and worked as a kitchen porter so I could get accommodation.
That’s a tough one, it would be between hosting members of the Royal Family at the President’s Marquee during the Chelsea Flower Show and Running British Airways hospitality at the 2012 Olympics.
Golf, PC games, building websites, and — believe it or not — creating Excel spreadsheets.
Don’t get me wrong, I love training. I get a real buzz being up in front of a group of youngsters at their first event, I guess thats why I still like to keep my hand in with Paris, Farnborough and Dubai Airshows. Day to day, it’s tech.
Apple, I’d love to get behind the scenes and see how they innovate. I would have to avoid the bean bags, if I got down on one of those I would be stuck for a week!
